Air Products and Chemicals Inc (NYSE:APD) reported its new plant in the PKEDZ, Nanjing, has come on-stream to offer ultra-high purity gases to its consumer in the park. The facility also offers liquid nitrogen to merchant consumers in and around Nanjing.

Air Products and Chemicals reported this investment in fresh capacity in 2016. The PKEDZ marks as a state-level advanced park that is advancing into center for advanced manufacturing divisions including integrated circuit, bio-medicine and new materials. It is just 35 kilometers away from the NCIP, where company has already established a key position over the previous decade with three leading air separation units serving numerous consumers in the park and across Nanjing via pipelines and several other supply modes.
Frank Yu of Air Products expressed that they are thrilled to have brought this key milestone project on-stream to serve both their global client in PKEDZ and the growing demand in Nanjing, and more importantly this has been achieved in short lead time. The company has already established a robust position in eastern China and Nanjing with reliable and integrated supply capabilities. They will continue to play and offer to support the rapidly growing semiconductor industry led by the Made in China 2025 plan and the government’s advanced manufacturing target as per the 13th Five-Year Plan.
