Dallas, Texas 07/16/2013 (Financialstrend) – Trina Solar Limited (ADR) (NYSE:TSL), the global leader in the manufacturing and sales of photovoltaic modules, services and solutions, recently announced that the company supplied 7 MW of photovoltaic modules to the leading players involved in the installation of valuable green solar energy-based power systems, Ikaros Solar. The company will thereby use these photovoltaic modules for an agricultural project planned to be implemented in the United Kingdom.

The Goose Willow Farm located in the town of Abingdom in the United Kingdom will now witness the installation of large scale solar systems which will have the capacity to generate around 7 MW of solar power using a total of 24,000 Trina Solar modules.  The company’s multi crystalline series PC14 solar products are effective for applications in such large scale solar power generation projects. Further value additions of the solar power modules of the company include an efficiency of 15.2 percent, ability to generate power up to 295W and provide high performance under low light conditions. In addition, the company’s products are also designed to bear snow loads of up to 5400 Pa and wind loads of around 2400 Pa.

Intraday range was from a low price of $7.05 to a high price of $7.81. The share price of Trina Solar Limited (ADR) (NYSE:TSL) closed for the day at $7.74 with an increase of 12.66%. The price range of Trina Solar for the past 52 weeks was $2.04 and the high at $8.47. The stock opened at the price of $7.06 on Monday with a market capitalization of $618.16 million and 79.87 million outstanding shares. With an institutional ownership of 65%, the trading volume for the day of Trina Solar was 8.10 million and average trading volume amounted to 3.31 million shares.
