AES Corp (NYSE:AES) Brings Onboard Sanjeev Addala


AES Corp (NYSE:AES) is a company that focuses in the provision of energy to several countries around the globe. The company tries its level best to keep its energy affordable to consumers as it progresses with its business undertakings. It was today that it disclosed details regarding bringing onboard Sanjeev Addala.

Welcoming Sanjeev

Reports indicate that the company came up with the position of Chief Information Digital Officer (CIDO) and this is the exact role the official will play.

The CEO of AES Andrés Gluski applauded the management for its decision to bring onboard Sanjeev. The official termed Sanjeev a great addition to the company’s Senior Management Team.

Gluski opined,  “His role in leading Caterpillar’s successful digitalization and business innovation efforts, and recent digital thought leadership and experience with GE Renewable Energy, make him the ideal candidate to accelerate AES’ efforts to become a leader in new technologies, including solar, energy storage, drones and digitalization.”

A close focus

The Chief Operating Officer of the company Bernerd Da Santos in making a statement outlined that it would be good working with Sanjeev. To him, what matters the most at the moment is helping the company achieve its set objectives.

This company is directing much of its efforts into the back-office operations. It hopes that with the adoption of digitalization everything will play out according to plan.

Santos admits that putting the company in line with digitization hasn’t been easy.

Addala applauds the company for the much it has accomplished in terms of applying the latest technologies in its operations. The official promises to co-operate with the rest of the officials to spark about major transformation in the company. Before moving into GE, the official worked at Caterpillar where he held the position of Chief Digital Officer.

AES has also unveiled its latest stock dividend. This was a quarterly one and it stood at about $0.13 per share. Addala pulls in with elaborate experience and expertise and that is what the company wants to take advantage of his services.

The company also intends to add to its workforce .It hopes the move will contribute towards faster delivery of services.
