The Canadian mobile maker BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) has unveiled a new private chat feature for its loyal users. This new feature is available to the users for a monthly subscription of US$0.99. However, it is less appealing to the users with already a number of private chat options existing.
It strips the sender’s details like profile picture and name after enabling the Private Chat mode. According to Blackberry, the chat session will automatically close a predetermined time. It is more secure and safeguards your identity allows chatting with your loved ones and business clients. The company earlier used to provide Timed and Retracted Control for the users on a subscription basis.
In addition to the existing feature, the users can also activate private chat feature for more secure and confidential chat. You can also retract the message, edit and resend with another new feature.
The company has recently introduced a design change for Android providing the users with new quote option and an innovative way to organize the stickers. Therefore, the users can easily reference the previous chats. Instead of the app dependency, the fonts for the iOS users are in line with main system settings.

Blackberry has introduced a new update that is packed with improvements and new features for iOS, Android and BlackBerry 10. Blackberry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) mobile users are already aware of sharing private information with loved ones and friends.
Now the users can confidently share the private moments with their loved ones. It has addressed the privacy concerns if the person chatting with you takes a screenshot. It eliminates the profile pictures and names in the new private chat feature. Therefore, the screenshots are now useless. It gives you a peace of mind while assuring a secure channel to keep in touch with your loved ones.
The new private chat feature replaces the prevailing Timed and Retracted Messages. Blackberry offers features like Private Chat, retract messages / pictures, timed messages and pictures, and editing the message to the users.
The subscribers of Timed and Retracted Messages will automatically get upgraded to the new feature.
The details of the private chat are automatically deleted from both the devices once the chat session is closed.
