Blink Charging Co (NASDAQ:BLNK) Expands Electric Vehicle Charging Network in the Miami Area

Blink Charging Co (NASDAQ:BLNK) has launched its vehicle charging services to Miami. Blink Charging Co, which owns, operates and provides electric vehicle (EV) charging services, is the current provider of EV charging services in the City of Miami Beach. The company has announced that it is installing several new EV charging station as it seeks to increase its presence in the region.

The company’s Charging Stations are now available and can be accessed by the public at four parking garages in The City of Miami Beach. The stations can be accessed both day and night.

In addition, Blink has announced that it is partnering with the City of Miami Beach to expand an additional five garages in the city over the next one month.

Electric vehicles vising the city will have full access to the company’s cloud-based network, which operate, manages and tracks all the Blink EV charging stations .the network is able to add between 20 to 25 miles of driving range in just 40 to 60 minutes of charging time. The new installed charging stations will be accessible to anyone driving an electric vehicle. Additionally drivers have the option of joining the for free after which they will be able to access reduced charging cost as well as other membership benefits.

Blink Charging Co-Founder and Executive Chairman Michael D. Farkas said that being able to expand its network from its Florida hometown, the company has achieved a major milestone. He added that they are happy to be only the company offering vehicle charging services in the City of Miami Beach both in the new locations already installed as well as more charging spots that the company intends to install in the future. Farkas indicated that the company settled on Miami Beach because the city has a large number of EV drivers and being in the city will ensure that all the drivers are always near a charging spot.

Miami Beach is still within the home territory of Blink that’s why the company gave it a lot of priority when expanding it network. The whole move is mean to ensure that drivers from Florida can easily access charging spots regardless of where they go.
