The touch monitors will include Dell 20 Touch Monitor, the Dell 23 Touch Monitor and the Dell 27 Touch Monitor. These shall offer intuitive and natural interface of a multi touch screen with high definition resolution. Also it makes great sense to have a touch screen when one has Windows 8 operating system with the touch oriented Metro interface.
The screens also have the salient feature of being compatible with networking technologies such as MHL, Display Port, HDMI, VGA and USB ports. One can tap, slide, swipe, turn, pinch and stretch images on the screen with a Windows 8 computer.
The dell 20 Touch Monitor will cost $250 offering a resolution of 1600×900 pixels on a 19.5 inch screen while the 23 inch desktop will sell for $ 450 and 27 inches for $700.
Dell expands range of laptops & ultrabooks
Dell has expanded its Latitude range of laptops and ultra books with the launch of Latitude 7000 series ultra books while the laptops range has expanded with the advent of Latitude 5000 and 3000 series laptops.
The Latitude ultra book series has a 12 inch screen while the Latitude 3000 series has two options of 14 inch and 15.6 inch Anti Glare LCD displays. These laptops also offer compatibility with the E docking and feature wireless keyboard and mouse.
