Goldcorp Inc. (USA)(NYSE:GG) reported dividend of $0.02 per share for the quarter closed June 30, 2017. Dividend will be paid to shareholders as of record June 15, 2017 while the disbursement date will be June 23, 2017.

Following tax legislation legislated in 2007, Canadian inhabitant individuals who get eligible dividends in 2006 and following years will be eligible to an enhanced dividend tax credit and gross-up on such dividends. All payouts done in 2006 and following years by Goldcorp are eligible dividends for this purpose.

The details

Goldcorp has executed a Dividend Reinvestment Plan. For the objective of the quarterly payout, the firm has chosen to release common shares under the DRIP via treasury at a 3% lower price from the Average Market Price. Payouts are to be done as and when announced by company’s Board and there is no privilege to any payment prior thereto.

The company may, at its discretion, from time to time, eliminate or change the discount pertinent to treasury acquisition deals or direct that such stock be bought in market acquisitions at the current market price, either of which would be publicly reported. Participation in the DRIP is voluntary and will not impact shareholders’ cash payouts unless they choose to partake in the DRIP. Involvement in the DRIP is open to all beneficial and registered shareholders in the United States and Canada. Shareholders that are inhabitant in jurisdictions other than the United States and Canada may also contribute in the DRIP, depending on any constraints of laws in such stockholder’s jurisdiction of residence.

In the last trading session, the stock price of Goldcorp gained 0.52% to close the day at $13.50. The market cap of firms now stands at $11.32 billion.
