Dallas, Texas 08/23/2013 (Financialstrend) – It had recently been announced that Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) would launch new tablet processors during the second half of the year 2014 in order to enable the company to maintain its present dominance in the market for tablets. It is expected that the 14nm Cherry Trail Tablet platform of the company would be launched in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2014, though it had been reported that the partners of Intel would be receiving the samples of the product by the end of this year 2013.
This new tablet platform of the company would be designed to use the existing 14nm Airmont Architecture and the processor would be designed to have 2.7 GHz clock speed and around GEN 8 GPU. Further, the 14nm Willow Trail of Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) is expected to come to the markets by the fourth quarter of 2014 which would be designed with the Goldmont architecture and would be loaded with GEN 9 GPU. It is worth noting that this Willow Trail tablet platform would prove effective to support both the Windows and Android phones and would thereby prove highly attractive to the young generation users in the markets across the world.
Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) had traded on Thursday to report a gain of 0.41% in the share prices and had finally closed the day at $22.26 per share. The stock further moved to have intraday fluctuations ranging between low of $22.17 and high of $22.39 per share and presently the year long price levels for the stock ranges between low of $19.23 and high of $26.01 per share. The stock had on Thursday reported that there had occurred around 17.38 million trades in its shares, while on an average the stock had reported 40.91 million trades per day.
