JetBlue Airways Corporation (NASDAQ:JBLU)’s Unveils Strategies


Dallas, Texas 09/19/2013 (Financialstrend) –A passenger airline company, JetBlue Airways Corporation (NASDAQ:JBLU), provides air transportation services in the United States, Latin America, Mexico and the Caribbean. JetBlue Airways Corporation (NASDAQ:JBLU) is going to launch a new marketing and advertising campaign titled “Air on the Side of Humanity” to reveal the struggle of air traveler by giving the consideration to the most ignored and underappreciated fliers of all – pigeons.  In its campaign, JetBlue focuses on its main brand difference with the competing airlines.

The company created the campaign by doing a partnership with an ad agency Mullen. In the campaign the company tries to shoe the trouble that the flier faces in documentary style videos by comparing the difference between how other airlines treat the people and how they are treated in a more respectful manner on JetBlue.

The pigeon have to face problems like; they have to fly in crowded spaces, get crumbs for snacks and most importantly usually he is ignored. While, if he travels through JetBlue get the more space in coach, limitless free snacks and user friendly service from the staff. The company has won an award from JD Power for Customer Service for nine successive years.

The company is planning to launch this campaign in the entire New York, where the airline was born. To attract the customers the campaign will be done all over from bus stands, on the taxis and also on the leading websites like and HuLu. The company is also planning to explain customers on how to express pigeon on their smartphones by partnering with Mobile Theory.

Yesterday, on September 18, 2013 the company also announced about its new business deal with Inter-American University (IAU) of Puerto Rico, School of Aeronautics. IAU is the latest academic addition to JetBlue’s University Gateway Platform.
