Dallas, Texas 04/15/2014 (FINANCIALSTRENDS) – Kandi Technologies Group Inc (NASDAQ:KNDI) which is a china based auto parts manufacturer announced on 14th April that progress has been made in its ongoing deliberations with Chinese government authorities to launch the “Public EV Sharing System Pilot Project”.
The press statement released by the auto parts manufacturer based in JINHUA province of China has indicated that key government stake holders including the Deputy Director of Electric Vehicles Development at the Shanghai Municipal Commission Mr Jing Ma along with the Vice mayor of Jinshan District Mr Huadi Shen visited the factory campus recently to put the finishing touches to the pilot project launch in Jinshan.
The visiting government officials are said it have taken a guided tour of the production facility and also taken the opportunity to test ride prototypes of two of the models “Kandi Brand Pure EVs—the SMA7000BEV and SMA7001BEV” which are to be introduced to the public in the pilot project. The pilot project involves Kandi Technologies Group Inc (NASDAQ:KNDI) producing a first batch of 3000 to 5000 units of its electric vehicles by end of this year.
The visiting dignitaries are said to have expressed their satisfaction at the quick ramp up of the production facility and the razor sharp execution focus displayed by the manufacturer. They went on to underline the state entities whole hearted support to the electric vehicle maker’s effort at introducing clean energy electric vehicles designed to meet the needs of power public transport to Shanghai.
Expressing his readiness to back the project through favourable policy framework, Deputy Director Mr. Jing Ma has been quoted to have said that “I will work on including the Project in the government’s priority list for the promotion of new energy vehicles in Shanghai in order to provide Kandi with a government policy”.
