Kerr Mines Inc. (OTCMKTS:KERMF) reported that the trading ticker for the firm’s U.S listing on the OTC platform has changed to KERMF from May 31, 2017. Pertaining to this change, the company has applied to list on the OTCQB platform to further improve the firm’s profile in the U.S.

Kerr Mines, a North American gold advancement and exploration firm, is advancing the fully allowed past-manufacturing Copperstone Mine project. It is a high-grade gold assignment based along the Walker Lane mineral belt in Arizona. The assignment shows considerable upside exploration prospect within a land package of 12,000 acres.

As of now, the main focus is on increasing Copperstone’s potential by expanding and defining existing resources and boosting the mine’s economics resulting in a production decision.

The updates

In the last week of May, Kerr Mines reported engagement of Brad Atkinson as Director of Exploration & Geology. This engagement records another major milestone in the firm’s strategy, getting additional technical expertise in the team so as to support the Copperstone Mine assignment towards a production decision.

Martin Kostuik, the President, reported that the addition of Atkinson to Kerr’s technical team will offer invaluable technical leadership, especially as they prepare their Copperstone gold mine for a broad exploration and geologic modelling plan. Atkinson’s experience in providing and advancing technical guidance to exploration plans in the southwestern USA and across the world will warrant that the Copperstone assignment is given the best prospect for resource development success.

Atkinson is a graduate in Geochemistry and Geological Science from Virginia Tech. His possess the proven expertise required to conceptualize and implement a first class plan at the Copperstone project. Moreover, Atkinson earned an MBA from the University of Denver which, together with his role at Caterpillar Financial Services, offers him innovative insight into using best business practices in finalizing capital allocation decisions.
