Dallas, Texas 06/29/2015 (Financialstrend) – LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:LF) has moved to combat summer learning loss with the unveiling of a new program designed to take children learning experience during the holiday season to another level. Dubbed ‘Summer Camp’, the program offers eight weeks of free set of tools selected by the company’s Learning Team, designed to keep kids engaged.
Summer Camp Program
The learning program comes with free printable, activities, articles and videos expected to keep kids engaged while helping them have a fun filled holiday. The program has already attracted 20,000 sign ups. LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:LF) is looking to turn the page on the negative perception of summer months on the academic life of young kids with the new program.
Summer brain drain is a reality and a cycle that has been in existence affecting students’ academic performance in areas of mathematics and science. Summer Camp should turn the page on this cycle by providing kids with a platform for remaining engaged with their academic life while having fun during the summer holidays. LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:LF) promises to give kids free resources that should help them stay on track beyond the classroom.
LeapFrog Poor Run
The program is made of the United States map coloring page, tips on how to cook up math in a fun way as well as a colors bingo game. The program essentially covers skills in math, reading science and creativity among many more. LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:LF) targets kids between the ages of three and eight with weekly prize ask of $250 up for grabs.
Separately, the stock has not had the best of runs in the market even as the company continues to develop innovative solutions designed to keep children active. The stock has experienced a significant decline in value over the past few weeks at the back of a negative earnings estimate for the current quarter and full year. Zacks Equity Research firm rates the stock as a sell.
