Melco Resorts & Entertainment Ltd (NASDAQ:MLCO) reported the release of “NÜWA”, its latest luxury hotel brand. NÜWA will launch in Manila and Macau on January 16, 2018. It will take place of the existing Crown Towers Hotels in its prime properties, City of Dreams.
Enthused by the eponymous star from Chinese mythology, NÜWA signifies classic Asian refinement. The latest brand further demonstrates Melco’s core objective to continue offering an enhanced guest experience. It marks as the first step in the setup of the launch of Phase 3 of City of Dreams Macau in Q2 2018.

In unrelated news, Melco Resorts reported that the Michelin guide, long stated as the world’s leading authority on culinary merit, bestowed seven stars to five of company’s signature restaurants in Macau. Moreover, for the second successive year, Melco Resorts & Entertainment holds the distinction of having over Michelin-starred dining establishments as compared to other operators in Macau.
