Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) trading up


Dallas, Texas 07/11/2013 (Financialstrend) – Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) announced that by the end of August, the Windows 8.1, the company’s new operating system, will be available to PC makers and informed that this operating system recently included  digital spy, a new feature. After its release in August, users of Windows 8 will receive a free of cost, automatic update to the newer 8.1 version. Up until this day, there is no announcement regarding the exact date of release of the new version, so users of Windows 8 will have to be patient. MSFT also announced that it is going to team up with Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ:ORCL) to make an entry into the cloud market.

On Wednesday, MSFT announced in the Worldwide Partner Conference a new service named CityNext, which helps leaders to make the most of their existing investments and find new and innovative ways to overcome challenges. Microsoft’s CityNext offers cities diverse Microsoft Partner Network with more than 430,000 experts throughout the world. CityNext brings  a whole ecosystem of devices, partner solutions and services that can meet a variety of city functions such as energy and water, justice, health and social services, buildings, transportation planning and infrastructure.

After reaching the intraday high price of $35.38, the share price of Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) currently trading at $35.37 with an intraday low price of $34.90. The share price of Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) rose by 1.87%.
