Mission Ready Services Inc (CVE:MRS) reported that Jeff Schwartz has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the firm. This measure closes the firm’s planned reorganization to shift focus on production of its ‘Protect the Force’ product line of personal protective items and ‘Wild Things’ cold weather gear.

Mission Ready Services reported that Schwartz has a broad background and experience in distinct aspects of executive management. He has been in director level positions for privately held as well as publicly traded firms, recently as President of LC Industries, which is a $380MM distribution and manufacturing business that surged from $50MM in its 12-year tenure.

There was a strong focus on team building and business development, Schwartz has advanced several companies within the strategic armor industry and has a past of achievements in uplifting similar-stage firms to great triumph in the defense market.

In order to support this new mission and to simplify corporate overhead, Reum will resign from role of the Chief Executive Officer and President and Mr. Litchfield will quit as COO. Both are strong enthusiasts of the firm’s strategic direction and of Schwartz. They will continue to be on the Board and will be available to help Mr. Schwartz during this transition period and in the coming period as required.

Mr. Reum stated that they could not have selected a better candidate to head Mission Ready to the new heights. Schwartz’s record of success in this industry and others performs well for the future of the firm.

Litchfield, ex VP of Reebok Advanced Concepts Group, with over 30 years of experience in improvement, will continue to make his skill in product creation and promotion available to the firm. The management consider that this is a highly opportune and pivotal time for the firm. Freeing up funds to be allocated towards meeting current and expected demand for the firm’s offerings will be of importance in meeting ambitious goals for 2017.
