The company posted a question to its users if they expected pay hike this year in its website. And it received over 3,585 responses and 51% of them expected pay hikes. Honoring women on March 8, International Women’s Day, the company analyzed the responses based on gender and found out 51% percent of women and 50% of men are expecting pay hike.

Monster Worldwide last month announced it has acquired TalentBin, Inc and Gozaik LLC, both social recruiting sites as part of its company’s expansion. With this acquisition the company will be able expand their job advertising network across the social network to potentially tap the best talents in the market. Gozaik LLC, based in San Francisco, uses talent database drawn from candidate activity on social websites to matches candidates to employers. Twitter, Meetup, Github and Facebook are some of the sites it interacts. Whereas Gozaik LLC, aggregates job and distributes across social network and it based is in Boston.
Monster Worldwide, Inc Reports Dip in Total Revenue
The company reported Revenue of $199 million witnessing a sequential increase from $197 million in the 3Q 2013. The operating expenses decreased by 11% at $189 million compared to $212 million in the 4Q2012. It also reported net loss of $20 million, or ($0.21) per share compared to $73 million, or ($0.66) per share during 4Q2012. Non-GAAP net income reported $10 million or $0.11 per share, compared to $13 million, or $0.12 per share in the fourth quarter of 2012. For the full year, the company reported 9% decrease in its total revenue at $808 million compared to $890 million previous year. The net loss was $0.5 million compared to $259 million reported previous year.
