Dallas, Texas 08/29/2013 (Financialstrend) – The much hyped Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) Glass is a device that resembles the glasses, but actually works as a computer. The device has been tested by people from all walks of life across the globe. The main motive behind Glass is to be used like a Smartphone. The device looks like a funky gadget of the fiction world, but it has some excellent features to offer.
One of the best features about Google glass is its camera that requires voice commands to shoot videos or to click pictures. For the comfort of the user a button has been provided for. Another spectacular thing about glass is the way it connects it’s user to the internet. You simply need to tap on the right side and for scrolling through the menu, one need to swipe around the right side. It allows the users to get directions to their destination or to search the net for some useful information. For display, a small screen has been given just above the right eye of the user. The location of this tiny screen makes sure that it doesn’t become an obstacle in user’s sight.
With so many advantages, comes the disadvantage of a shorter battery life. Users claim that they felt the need of recharging their Glass device from a time span ranging between ninety minutes to two hours. The device loses battery while shooting videos. In contrast to this, Google claims that Glass has been designed to last for twenty hours after a typical charging cycle. The device doesn’t perform well under noise conditions as the user isn’t able to hear perfectly.
The device has a long way to go and this is just the initial testing phase for Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) Glass. Experts predict that glass would be loved by the people once it is launched due to its unique geeky look along with its features.
