With two of the top-line Big Data solution provider already on its portfolio- Responsys Inc, and Eloqua Inc, which Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) acquired last year, another new technology company is on Oracle’s platform- Blue Kai.
Blue Kai has been a successful player in offering further innovation at the customer level for big data users. The tools which Blue Kai offers allows businesses to garner intelligence from collated data through targeted mining for customer-specific data, which will help the business to run target-specific campaigns.
Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) is expected to consolidate its Big Data segment by integrating services of all the three companies which the company has since acquired. Currently, Responsys offers exclusive Business to Customer automated marketing solutions, while Eloqua brings Business to business level of automation services. Bluekai will now allow integrate with both of the services to offer personalized marketing channels.
Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) is not the only company which has an eye on the Big Data segment. International Business Machine Corp.(NYSE:IBM) has since acquired Cloudant for $1.2 billion to deliver Database as a Service.
Another of Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) technology peers such as SAP and Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) to name a few are already entrenche deep in the Big Data and cloud services segments.
