Pandora Media Inc (NYSE:P) introduced new means for listeners to control their music on Sonos within company’s award-winning mobile application. Listeners can now regulate Sonos directly via the company’s mobile app and command Pandora stations using voice commands via Alexa. This latest experience also comprises support for Premium, company’s on-demand service introduced earlier this year.

Chris Phillips, the Chief Product Officer of Pandora, expressed that Pandora listeners admire the in-home music experience they have created with Sonos, having recorded more than 250 million hours in 2017 alone.
They have turned it easier than ever to manage home audio listening experience by including strikingly designed features inside the company’s app to control Sonos. Allen Mask, the VP of Partnerships at Sonos, expressed that Sonos owners have relished their favorite Pandora stations in any area since the service associated with the Sonos platform in 2007. It is now convenient for listeners to control and access their music from Pandora.
With the latest feature, customers can control all of their in-home music requirements from Pandora’s easy-to-navigate and intuitive mobile app, play and select music, ungroup and group speakers, move music across rooms, adjust volume, and form the perfect mood for any event.
The consumers can access on-demand capabilities with Pandora Premium, search and play any album, playlist or song; go hands-free and state Alexa to tune favorite Pandora stations on consumer’s Sonos device with voice-control instructions; share control with other people who can DJ customer in-home Sonos system via their Pandora app; and runs with all tiers of service including Pandora, Pandora Premium and Pandora Plus.
