Sears Holdings Corp (NASDAQ:SHLD) Joelle Maher To Hold President and Chief Member Officer


Dallas, Texas 07/15/2015 (Financialstrend) – Sears Holdings Corp (NASDAQ:SHLD) in an announcement on Tuesday, reported the appointment of Joelle Maher as the president and Chief Member Officer for Sears. Her key focus will be to grow the special member-based business segment, Shop Your Way. She will also be responsible for managing Sears P&L as well as collaborating with other sections, including marketing, pricing, and merchandizing as well as selling the announcement noted.

Before her appointment to Sears Holdings Corp (NASDAQ:SHLD), Maher was the COO of Gymboree Corporation. Here she led the company through operational aspects besides planning, real estate as well as construction issues handling. She was key decision maker with exposure to operational processing as well as strategy, besides information technology.

Maher also has work experience as Executive Vice President and other leadership roles at Levis Straus and other companies such as  Global Multichannel Retail. Her work experience includes her stint at Lucky Brand Jeans for over seven years. She started her career at Old Navy, Lord & Taylor as well as Macy’s East.
