Sirius XM Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:SIRI) recently unveiled the entire lineup of its Holiday music channels featuring 15 commercial-free channels and 5 exclusively available channels streaming on SiriusXM platforms. The company intends to kick off the festive season famously and hence will start broadcasting 7 music channels out of the complete lineup from November 1, 2018.
As per the report, the music channels from the company will provide the listeners a wide variety of musical scores including traditional holiday songs, country Christmas classics, classic Christmas carols, soul music, Latin seasonal music, contemporary holiday tunes, and Hanukkah music.
SiriusXM adds Mannheim Steamroller channel to its holiday music channels lineup
SiriusXM is making some new additions to its holiday music channels offerings by including an exclusive Mannheim Steamroller channel. It will feature the special Manheim Steamroller music known for an ideal blend of symphonic music and new age elements, rock, and Christmas music modern recordings.
Apart from this, the platform is also planning to launch four more holiday music online channels. These new additions include Holiday Chill-Out, Rockin’ Xmas, 70s/80s Christmas, and Jazz Holidays. Subscribers can listen to these channels online while on the go through the SiriusXM mobile app.
They can also enjoy the channels at home on different connected devices including Alexa devices, Smart TVs, Amazon devices, PlayStation, Apple TV, Sonos speakers, Roku, and more.
Prominent features of SiriusXM holiday channels
The Holly will come on channel 4 via satellite and will offer contemporary holiday hits such as the songs by Ariana Grande, Michael Buble, Pentatonix, Josh Groban, and Mariah Carey. The channel Holiday Traditions will come on channel 3 and will feature regular traditional music from the 40’s to 60s from artists such as Burl Ives, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Glen Miller, Carpenters, Ella Fitzgerald, Elvis Presley, Andy Williams, Mel Torme.
Radio Hanukkah will come on channel 77 and will feature contemporary, traditional and children’s selective musicals apart from extensive music on Hanukkah theme. The channel will also feature daily prayers and reflections related to the holiday. Other holiday music channels from SiriusXM include Country Christmas on channel 58, Holiday Soul on channel 49, and Acoustic Christmas on channel 14.
