The online travel company was facing allegations of failing to assert whether all the opinions on review pages were genuine for making informed decisions about travel destinations and quality of service in hotels.
Federalberghi Disappointment
Federalberghi Italy’s hotel and restaurant trade association has already aired its disappointment on Tripadvisor Inc (NASDAQ:TRIP) being relieved of any wrongdoing. The agency believes the ruling only allows the online company to continue operating without addressing some of the concerns raised by tourists. Federalberghi continues to question the way a phantom restaurant leaped to the top of the sites rankings in less than one month thanks to 10 fake comments.

However, the company has come under immense scrutiny in the recent past with most of the reviews being questioned over their authenticity. The company and its Italian arm have already been ordered to stop publishing misleading information about the sources of their reviews.

The site has now been asked to try and filter out any false reviews that may mislead their clients.
Separately Orlando came on top as the most appealing to travelers thanks to its amusement parks zoos and aquariums. Universal Islands of Adventure in Orlando came on top on the examinations of more than a million reviews.
