Edison were selected in Savoy Magazine’s Most Influential Black Corporate Directors for the year. Roger K. Newport, the Chief Executive Officer of AK Steel, expressed that they are proud of the leadership, insight and expertise that Edison and Wilson bring as members of their board. Edison is SVP, Secretary and Chief Legal Officer of Bemis Company, Inc. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and History from the University of Southern California. Also she is a J.D. from Northwestern University. Edison has been a part of the AK Steel Board since 2014, and was also recognized by Directors & Boards Magazine as one of the 2017 Directors to Watch.
Wilson is a former SVP of Fluor Corporation and has earned a Bachelor of Science degree – Civil Engineering from renowned Loyola Marymount University. She joined the AK Steel Board in this year only.
