Dallas, Texas 08/08/2013 (Financialstrend) Board of directors of Windstream Corp. (NASDAQ:WIN) recently declared a quarterly dividend of 25-cents per share on the common stock of the company, The cash dividend of 25-cent is payable on October 15, 2013 to share holders of confirmed as of Sept. 30, 2013. The company has appointed Bob Gunderman as treasurer in addition to the treasurer role to the treasurer role will also be the senior vice president of financial planning. Windstream’s chief financial officer Tony Thomas commented “Mr. Gunderman has been supervising our treasury activities for a little over a year now as well as managing the implementation of more than $4 billion in capital market dealings and he has finished an outstanding job, further he and I will carry on to work intimately together to make stronger Windstream’s risk portfolio by dropping leverage, lesser interest expense and preserving plenty of liquidity”

Bob Gunderman is accountable for all capital market functions, treasury, risk management, capital budgeting and forecasting, debt management and investor relation. He was earlier served as Windstream’s vice president of financial planning. Before joining Windstream in 2008 Gunderman was served as vice president of internal audit for Alltel.

After reaching the intraday high price of $8.60, the share prices of Windstream Corp. (NASDAQ:WIN) closed at $8.60 with an intraday low price of $8.34. The share prices had increased by 0.35 percent by closing on Wednesday with an opening price of $8.51. The 52 week high price was $11.04and the 52 week low price was recorded as $7.50.
